Sometimes you have to listen to Mom!

My mother once said to me, "Cinderella had to clean a lot of fireplaces before she got to live the fairy-tale."

I keep hearing, take a day for yourself! You don't have to work 7 days a week!  And as good as that sounds, I like "cleaning fireplaces" because how else can I live my fairy-tale life....?

Orchids don't blossom over night they take a lot of loving care, just like you won't blossom into your most beautiful self without a lot of loving care from yourself.

Mantra


What I am supposed to learn is Patience, Calmness, Security in who I am and Joy in the Unexpected!

Phone etiquette, Text messaging, email and facebook etiquette!!

Recently I have noticed a trend with businesses and people.  I'm sure you've been on both sides, the customer and the business owner. 
With technology it seems we are all supposed to be available at the touch of a button, Heaven Forbid you don't have your phone on you for a minute, don't check your email every 30 minutes, or have to take a shower, because that is UNACCEPTABLE.  You are not reachable.  You are a bad business person.  Your customer service is not just poor but horrid.

I recently had a experience where a client/customer called my cell phone, business line, sent two text messages, emailed me twice, and sent a message on my business facebook page, and to top that she had her assistant do the same, and her intern do the same.  By the time I was finished listening to the voice messages, reading the texts, emails, and facebook posts, I had missed 6 other calls, texts, facebook posts...
Sound familiar? 

Well if we were in a relationship you'd be called a psycho, but since you are a client you are "justifiably upset" by the lack of communication. 

So, to all of you out there, who own a business, Good Luck, and to all of you out there who are clients/customers, unless the person is your doctor , this is not a life threatening issue.  We will get back to you, we will take care of you because you are important to us, but if you have to resort to psychotic behavior about a non-life threatening issue, please hang up right now and call 911!!!

Sissor Sharpening Service!!

Ever think you've finally gone crazy and can't find find customer service anywhere? 
Today I just recieved a postcard, trying to sell me something, I need!  Imagine that ever happening!!!
Three months ago I had finally given up on finding a company to sharpen my sissors, The local True Value stopped offering the service, the guy everyone recommended was no longer around, and every lead was a dead end,

So here it is for all you in Charleston, SC and anywhere else (they do mail order...)  And it is anything from Salon/Barber sizzors, Industrial (think chainsaws and tree clippers), to seamstress, and yes for fabric stores who always seem to have the worst sissors cutting your fabric (GDC you could use this)!
